Exhibited at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, Mining the Skies is a collection of rock and mineral samples that relate to the current age of extra terrestrial mining research.

The samples were chosen following discussions with planetary scientists at the European Space Agency and commercial mining companies such as the Asteroid Mining Corporation. The samples are arranged on morse-code orbit paths that are coded extracts of the Outer Space Treaty, Moon Treaty and US Space Act relating to resource extraction.
